Supports: Recruitment, Payroll, Training, Employee Relations, Benefits and Regional HR Administration
The Human Resources Coordinator works alongside the HR Manager and management team with a commitment to assist CampusParc & Laz Parking in establishing and meeting professional and compliant employment practices. As a company committed to providing an employee-focused servant leadership culture; the Human Resources Coordinator will act as a direct contact for employees, hold responsibility for programs and initiatives originating from the CampusParc office and maintaining compliance and relationship with the LAZ Home Office while helping to support the individual and changing needs of our operational teams.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support services for employees including areas of employee relations, workman’s compensation, safety, recruitment, on-boarding, training and benefits. Individual must demonstrate leadership and the ability to manage change driven by company growth. This is a fast-paced, diverse position which requires exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong customer service, problem solving, and management skills are a must.

Drives the functional day-to-day operations, compliance, communications and continued success for the HR department.
•Partner with the HR manager to meet the designated monthly, quarterly, yearly goals set by the Regional and Home offices
•Partner with Home Office team to assist in the coordination and implementation of company-wide human resources related policies, programs and initiatives
•Responsible for coordinating with the regional team on recruitment, on-boarding, training, and general HR administration
•Executing of HR activities as it relates to recruiting, on-boarding, workers’ compensation, safety, training, employee relations, payroll, and benefits
•Focused effort to manage and effectively resolve employee issues, grievances and claims
•Communicating with Home Office Payroll Department to ensure timely and accurate payroll for the region(s)
•Handles administration of all established human resources policies, procedures and programs. Responsible for understanding, interpreting, administering and mediating any and all forms of inquiry that arise relating to all human resources issues
•Responsible for workers’ compensation program for region including; managing claim from point of injury, working with adjuster and corporate office to ensure best practices, facilitate and manage compliant return to work program
•Working with Home Office to initiate and run safety committees and programs that comply with company initiatives
•Manage, report, respond, appeal to Unemployment claims while meeting specified deadlines and gathering necessary documentation to defend LAZ on all claims.
•Responsible for employee relations issues; ensuring pro-active, compliant management while supporting the company culture and servant leadership model
•Train and advise managers on organizational policy and procedures as it relates to both salaried and hourly employees including; assisting managers with performance management, coaching and counseling regarding application of policy, and annual performance reviews
•Maintaining compliance with all state and federal laws in regions including wage and hour laws; updating forms, policies, procedures as needed in coordination with Home Office
•Manage leaves of absence including FMLA, disability leaves, other leaves as needed in coordination with Home Office HR and payroll
•Ensure that all recruitment and on-boarding process and procedures are compliant and follow company standards including; background checks, DMV checks, drug screens and new hire documents

•Employee relations experience and practices
• Knowledge of workers compensation laws, and experience managing multiple claims
•Knowledge of current Federal, State and Local laws
•Strong written and oral communications and relationship- building skills essential
•Ability to maintain professional working relationships at all levels of the organization
•Ability to balance company objectives with personal needs of employees
•Ability to multi-task and interpret policies, procedures, and standard business practices
•Experience of HRIS and payroll systems (ADP) preferred
•Ability to work independently
•Ability to solve problems and recommend comprehensive solutions
•Knowledge of Excel, Word, Power Point and General Microsoft Office Applications
• Degree in Business / Human Resources or related field of study
•1-2 years experience in a Human Resources environment
•Training and development of staff, new hires, company programs and initiatives
•Human Resources Study Experience and/or Previous HR Internship
•Customer Service Background
•Working in fast paced, multi-tasking environment
•Dealing with high pressure, tight deadlines
•Payroll Processing and administration for 300+ employees (Desired not Required)
•Knowledge and understanding dealing with Benefits and Open Enrollment (Desired)
